Today I got out of school for the dentist or what not. And on my way back I walked past a cafe and I saw a famous Australian comedian! (Carl Barron) And I got excited because I knew him.
Carl Barron's so funny and so Australian. I watched him for the first time with my cousins a few months ago.
But not many people really know comedians like him. I don't think it matters very much anyway, but seeing the faces when I tell people that know him, that I saw him chillin' in a cafe, really made my day.
But that is actually the first time for a long time that I've seen a famous person in public.
It's like when you see a snake when you weren't intending too.
I(I mean the feelings of rarity and surprise.)
It's not special when you see the famous person on TV or go to one of their shows, just like it's not special seeing a snake in a zoo.
As a matter of fact I used to get really excited when I saw one of the Hi-5 people in public. I even remember it like it was yesterday. In the Airport, Charlie was dressed like a goth and we went up to her and had a lovely conversation.
And I say all this with a wink!
